AN ENGLISH TOUR OF ST JACQUES SCHOOL- HAZEBROUCK

We are going to describe the different buildings of our school and tell a little bit about each. We will start with block A, then B, C, D and finally outside.

Block A:red

• Spanish class This class is for pupils in year 9 and 10 who learn Spanish
• English Class This is the class where everyone learns English
• French class This is our French class, we decorate it with our posters
• Humanities class This class has lots of maps and posters on famous people
• Art room This class is decorated with pupils’ creation
• Techno This class has got a few  computers and machines to learn technology
• Secretary  This is the reception point for pupils and parents

Block B:green

• I.C.T rooms We have 2 I.C.T rooms in our school. They are used in all subjects (French; English; maths)

• “salle de Devoirs Surveillés” test room All pupils go here when they have big tests
• free period room Pupils do their homework when a teacher is absent

Block C:yellow 

• Music room There is one piano and a few other instruments in this room
• Classes for the pupils in their 1^st year
• Religious education classes (mostly for pupils in their 1^st year)

Block D:blue

• Maths classes
• Science laboratories
• French classes
• German classes
• Free period room
• “la salle des cartables” cloakroom
• « foyer » youth club
